If Charlie and I could have anything we wanted for Christmas it would be that he could find a home by Christmas. I know as the days draw near the possiblities of this happening slim. I promise these dogs this will be their last stop. I meant it and it will be. I was just hoping the stop wouldn't have lasted this long!!!!
Everybody here hopes everybody had a wonderful Thanksgivng!!
Charlie sure looks happy!

ReplyDeleteYesterday I got to see Charlie again! The first time I met him several weeks ago, I have to admit I thought he was a little over bearing. He can be a little vocal but of course it was instigated by the way I entered his house---rather abruptly--(oh......and I tend to deliberatly generate a little extra excitement when I come through the door). My sister's other dogs are used to it and I forgot she had taken in a new foster.
ReplyDeleteWell yesterday after the general excitement settled down and I got my fill of puppy loves, doggie kisses and gave out plenty of ear scratches and belly rubs I was just standing in the kitchen having a conversation with my sister. Her dogs were just sort of wandering around sniffing things--hitting the water bowl etc., and then I looked down. Charlie was about 2 feet away from me sitting there quietly and just looking up at me.....patiently waiting....
I couldn't resist this adorably sweet guy! I bent down and called him over. He came right over and leaned up against me while I scratched his ears. I was just astounded at how sweet this guy is---especially after I freaked him out with the first impression he got of me. He was sitting there so quiet waiting that I didn't even notice him at first.
All I can say is ADORABLE!!
